Baroque violinist Paul Luchkow has curated this concert of Bach’s work in transcription for string trio. This beautiful program will illustrate how other musicians, including Mozart, have adapted Bach’s music to make it their own.

The ten singers of Vox Luminis accompanied by baroque instruments give us a taste of the musical world that preceded the famous J.S. Bach. You will be treated to lesser-known music by many of his family members concluding with J.S. Bach’s moving Cantata #4.

Every other year, Early Music Voices presents a full performance of Handel’s Messiah with guest soloists, Rosa Barocca and an outstanding small professional choir all led by Claude Lapalme. Our interpretation of this marvellous work with baroque instruments is not to be missed!

Sing Along Messiah

A Christmas tradition for many, join a church full of enthusiastic choristers with orchestra (Rosa Barocca), and hear the solos sung by our auditioned Debut Singers. You don’t have to know anything about Handel’s Messiah – you can just sit back and enjoy the beautiful music. All are welcome!

The Huehuetanango Songbook

The vihuela and singer duo Alvarado & Abramovich performs music compiled in northern Guatemala between 1582 and 1635 including music from Spain, France and Italy, as well as works by Guatemalan composers in the local vernacular. Enjoy an exploration of time and place through music.

Neil Cockburn returns to Calgary for a solo organ concert on the University of Calgary’s beautiful Ahrend organ. Including music by Buxtehude, Sweelinck, and Bach, this concert promises to be a special evening with one of Canada’s premier organists.
